Are you ISO 9000 certified ?
  • Yes, we are ISO 9002 certified. Our original approval date was September 10,
    1998. We were approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited,
    Certificate No.: 110740

Are you accreditated to ISO Guide 25 ?

  • We are Accredited ISO Guide 25 (ISO 17025)

Are you N.I.S.T. Traceable ?

  • We provide traceability on all our Calibration Certificates to N.I.S.T., or a recognized national/international organization, or by use of acceptable values of natural physical constraints.

Do you follow ANSI Z-540 ?

  • Yes, we comply to ANSI Z-540-1

Do you come on-site ?

  • Yes, we do on-site calibrations
    NOTE: Not all Calibrations, such as high accuracy items, can be done on-site, as they require Lab conditions to Calibrate.

Do you Pick-up and Deliver ?

  • Yes, we provide local pick-up and delivery service.

Do you calibrate in a controlled environment ?

  • Yes, our laboratory has a controlled environment and our Lab Calibration Procedures ensure the integrity of this environment.

Do you supply before and after data ?

  • We always supply before and after data on the Calibration Certificate supplied.

Are your calibration technician's properly trained ?

  • We are ISO 9002 certified, so training is an important part of our quality program. We are continually training to assure we provide the highest level of quality possible.

What is your procedure if a primary standard or standard used for calibration is found out of tolerance ?

  • The owner of every device/tool that the primary standard or standard was used to calibrate going back to the last calibration of the primary standard or standard is notified, in writing, of the condition. HJM Precision, Inc. will recalibrate the devices/tools at no charge to the owners.

Do you maintain a 4 to 1 ratio between standard and item to be calibrated ?

  • Our goal is to maintain a 10 to 1 ratio. Our procedures will not allow us to not maintaining a minimum of a 4 to 1 ratio without notifying the customer and gaining authorization from the customer. Each Calibration Certificate we supply states the Degree of Uncertainty of the measurements.

What is your turn around time ?

  • The in-house turn around time runs from 3 to 5 business days during slower periods to 7 to 10 business days in peak periods.
  • We offer a "Expedite" service (when we can) of a 1 to 2 day turn around time. The "Expedite" is provided at an additional cost.

Is there a minimum charge ?

  • There is a minimum requirement of $ 30.00

Do you accept Credit Cards ?

  • Yes, we accept Master Card and Visa.
